Oregon Bucket List

My bucket list items around the beautiful state of Oregon. Can’t live is such a wonderful location and not explore! This list includes all the activities that are must-dos for me outside of the Eugene area.

  1. Sand board at Sand Master Park
  2. Hike to Silver Falls
  3. Drive the Aufderheide with Audio
  4. Visit Wildlife Safari
  5. Oregon Caves National Monument
  6. Wine tasting the Rogue Valley
  7. The Vortex 
  8. Visit the Hole-in-the-Ground
  9. Snow Shoe to Salt Creek Falls and around Crater Lake
  10. Wine tasting in the Gorge
  11. See a drive-in movie in Newberg
  12. Sail and wind surf the Columbia River
  13. Bike the Old West Scenic Bikeway
  14. Sleep in a tree house
  15. Visit the Caves National Monument
  16. See the painted hills
  17. Golf at the Bandon Dunes
  18. Cross country ski in Sisters
  19. Sip through the Bend Ale Trail
  20. White Water raft
  21. See the eye candy at the Pendleton Roundup
  22. Become a Junior Ranger at the John Day Fossil Bends (am I too old? I hope not)
  23. Hunt for spirits at Oregon’s Ghost Towns
  24. Mountain bike on my of Oakridge’s top-notch trails
  25. Visit the “Badlands”
  26. Hike a portion of Oregon’s PCT Trail
  27. Attend the Albany Hot air balloon festival
  28. Chow on Chowder at the Chowder, Blues & Brews Festival

  1. Didn’t know Albany had a balloon fest – will have to check it out.
    Plan to do Silver Falls as soon as the weather clears. (did you know there is a Golden AND Silver Falls Park further south?)
    Wildlife Safari is near me. Done that. There’s a wine tasting tour near by.
    Need to start working on my own Oregon bucket list. 🙂 Thanks for the suggestions.

  2. There’s nothing like travel abroad to make us appreciate home even more. Oregon is so lovely! What a great list. My family lives about ten minutes from the Newberg drive-in…makes me nostalgic. 🙂 Enjoy~
