Two for Food

Two more items off the bucket list in the past two weeks.

Swung by Papa’s Soul Food Kitchen, well didn’t really swing by, waited in line for an hour – but it was well worth it. Serving mama’s butt kicking southern savories, this popular restaurant tingles the taste buds with sweet tea and traditional chicken dishes. If you are feeling more adventurous you can try their crawfish. No matter what you get at this restaurant you know it’s made with southern love – oh and spend the extra dollar to get the corn bread with honey butter, it’s to die for.

Secondly, I finally made it to Cornucopia. Another wait, but the food was served hot and the fries were crispy and tasty. I enjoy the French Dip with fries, but I admit I want to go back to try the salads and veggie burgers.
